Manoranjan (Mao) Mohapatra

Mao is the Non-executive Director at Comviva. His distinguished career of over four decades has been dedicated to the development and deployment of innovative software communications solutions in rapidly growing markets, transforming high-potential businesses into true world-beating organizations.

Mao has been the longest-serving CEO of Comviva where he spearheaded the growth of the organization for over 18 years.  His visionary leadership significantly reshaped the organization and propelled Comviva to new heights with the organization expanding to over 100+ countries across the globe. 

Before joining Comviva, Mao was President and COO at Aricent, where he was instrumental in building the company from a relative start-up to a globally recognized brand, with over US$300 million in revenues. At Aricent, Mao led teams in the areas of R&D, product management, operations, and sales and marketing, gaining hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the software and communications industries and honing his leadership talent.
